We are excited to announce that the Foundation has committed to fund a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) lab at Wandell. This initiative will be rolled out in the 2016-2017 school year to all grades. The STEM program will include the use of the rear pond as well as outdoor spaces on Wandell grounds. The objective of a STEM lab is to raise curiosity amongst students in science and technology through an interactive, hands-on approach to learning. Rather than memorizing facts, students will solve problems and find answers by applying, analyzing, interpreting and comparing them.
All of these enhancements in the quality of education at our school would not be possible without the generosity of the Wandell parents, faculty and community.
