    PHYSICAL EDUCATION & HEALTH : MR. KRESCH

    Physical Education will be held twice a week for 46 minutes in each class

    Health for grades 3-5 will be held once a week

    Health for K-2 will be taught by their classroom teacher

    Students are not required to change for Phys. Ed. class, but if a student chooses to change their clothing, lockers are available in the locker room

     

    RULES AND GUIDELINES  K 5th GRADE

    1.   Students must wear sneakers on designated gym days- shoes with ties are best! Extra sneakers may be kept in school for gym use.

    2.  No loose jewelry - especially earrings

    3.  Comfortable attire suitable for physical activities should be worn

    4.  Safety glasses must be worn if student wears glasses

    5.  Positive attitude and participation in all class activities is a requirement

    6.  Bathroom and water breaks will be available as needed - students may bring their own water bottle to class

    7.  Any illness and or injury should be reported to the P.E. Teacher and Nurse.

    8.  Good sportsmanship must be exhibited at all times

    Health and Physical Education are unique subjects. They enable us to work in 4 areas at all times. Those areas include: social, emotional, mental, and physical awareness. Health and Phys Ed. are part of our everyday lives.

     

     

    HEALTH CLASS GUIDELINES: 4th - 5th  GRADES

     

    Health class will be conducted on a weekly basis in a classroom format. Homework assignments, classroom projects, oral, and written tests will be given. A separate Health grade will appear on report cards.

    1.  It is suggested that students obtain a box of colored pencils.

    2.  A separate folder for class is also recommended.

    3.  An extra section in a notebook should be saved for health.

    4.  A classroom book will be provided.
