In Ms. Tandara’s Grade 5 science class today, students adjusted the drop height to change impact velocity and measured the resulting crater diameter on a simulated lunar surface. Hands-on modeling of real planetary science. Excellent work!

Thank you to the Smith Middle School team from Ramsey for their informative visit to Wandell! Dr. Esdale, Ms. Fiorini, and Ms. Larsen shared a helpful overview with our fourth- and fifth-grade students and families and answered great questions about the transition to middle school.
We also loved welcoming student Rambassadors, including Wandell alumni Bobby Howard and Eliana Burton, who helped make the transition to Smith feel exciting and welcoming.

So proud of our fifth grade students and their amazing engineering and art designs using 3-D pens. Students explored 2-D versus 3-D, shape, form, balance, and unity, and the creativity on display was impressive. Way to go!

Wandell School is spreading kindness in a BIG way! 💙
Our Kindness Challenge is in full swing, and we’re teaming it up with our Souper Bowl to help those in need in our community. 🥫✨
Every act of kindness and every can of soup donated makes a difference. Let’s show what happens when compassion and community come together at Wandell—one kind act (and one bowl of soup!) at a time. 💫
